Born & raised in India, my career started with a bachelor’s degree in a workshop based industrial design course which laid my foundation for user-centered design thinking. After gaining valuable hands-on experience in research and design with an year long project with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, I went on to obtain my master’s degree at the National Institute of Design, India.
Strategic Design Management, a research-intensive innovation management course, taught me the impact of design on business and the value of design thinking. I have work experience in a variety of positions, helping to define design strategy and craft new product experiences, with Microsoft, 500 Startups and Zenoti.
In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at the Seattle Humane Society, hiking, trekking and taking pictures of landscapes and sunsets. I value community and contribute to creative events as often as possible.
I enjoy working in cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers & business leaders. I am skilled at User Experience (UX), Information Architecture (IA), User Interface (UI), Service Design and Design Research.
